Towerbyte Leipzig and Venture Capitalst S-Beteiligungen have founded the initiative "E-Commerce in Leipzig". The spin-off from Jena Towerbyte, which has been active for a couple of years already, focusses on supporting E-Commerce Start-ups in the Leipzig area. Robert Heesen, recent graduate of the M.Sc. program at HHL, has conducted a founders’ internship with startup-company Käuferportal. This internship enabled him to experience the pros and cons of starting up a business first hand and ensures a smooth transition into this career. read more about it here.
German business school EBS now also starts its very own entrepreneurship event (WHU students have done so for a couple of years already).
