As part of their internationalization strategy, MisterSpex, the online optician from HHL alumni Dirk Graber and Björn Sykora, now launched their offering in France.

Already, HHL is known for its entrepreneurial spirit. HHL-graduates have created over 80 start-ups in the past ten years and are consistently active in the German start-up scene. Manfred Stegger, founder and CEO of allesklar.com/meinestadt.de, recently named HHL the "Internetschmiede Deutschlands" in the entrepreneurial scene. Read more here.
HHL student Adrian Graf was invited to the prestiguous St. Gallen Symposium. Based on an essay titled "Corporate Entrepreneurship als Rezept für innovationsgetriebenen Erfolg" he was selected in a nationwide competition as one of the chosen ones to participate in this well-known forum. Wetterschutz, the company founded by HHL alumni Alexander Schlagenhaufer and Stefan Merker was accepted to the final round of the futuresax businessplan competition.
The student intitiative accelerate@hhl was one of the first german initiatives to foster entrepreneurship at universities.
