Student entrepreneurship initiative accelerate@hhl organized several field trips this past term. They visited Munich Business Schools`s Venture Summit, did company visits and workshops in Hamburg with e.g. eVenture Partners and teamed up with the energy club to visit PVFlex Solar, a solar company foundd from HHL alumnus Erik Theilig.

HHL alumni Sandro Günther and Mario Körösi have teamed up to realize another business idea they created. With werbeboten.de they offer viral marketing opportunities for companies. The business plan competition winter 2010 ended with a final presentation in front of Jan Borgstädt, Principal at venture capitalist BDMI and Marcel Radzei, Founder and CEO of billigflieger.de. HHL alumnus Deepak Suryanarayanan returned to his homecountry after graduation but carried on the entrepreneurial spirit. He opened up a "serviced apartments" in Coimbatore, India, called "Ethnic Stay". So if you are in the region, consider staying there. More info also in this newspaper article.
Computerbild has tested health portals in Germany and acknowledged that imedo.de, the start-up founded by HHL-graduate Christian Angele, is offering the best services. Mode info here.
Several HHL start-ups have entered the competition for the 2010 competition of the IQ Innovationspreis Mitteldeutschland.
